Our College Aspirations Project at Bellevue Elementary immerses students of all grade levels in the awareness and exposure to various occupations, the importance of life long learning, goal setting, and the opportunities of higher education.
Students are exposed to various occupations and careers through community visitations & presentations, class career fairs, potential-college research, and college and university visitations. Each year, all of our fifth graders visit Boise State University, and our fourth graders visit the College of Southern Idaho. During these visits students learn about setting goals, academic choice & success, career & financial benefits of higher education, and get a taste of what college is like.
