Cub Council
Our Cub Council is a 5th Grade student-council, designed to develop self-confidence, life-long leadership, and citizenship skills. Cub Council meets each Monday with advisor Krista Jones in the Tech room during lunch. Meetings are part of a formal Leadership training where the Council members are guided to develop their interpersonal/ responsibility skills, discuss concerns & needs of the school/staff/students, and create school-wide goals & action plans that are presented to teachers & our principal.
Cub Council members learn the importance of Service and are involved in volunteer projects in our school and community, and have the opportunity to mentor 3rd grade students. All 5th graders explore the concepts of Career and College Awareness through our Bellevue Elementary CAPS-- College Aspirations Project; which includes going with Mrs. Jones to Boise State University.
